Name: Maranta leuconeura (Also known as: Prayer plant, rabbit's tracks)

Origin: Originally from the tropical rainforests of South America, where it grew as a small plant with spreading leaves branches under the protection of the tree canopy.

Care Tips: Maranta likes warm conditions with plenty of humidity. Use soft tepid water at all times. Spray daily and stand pot on wet pebbles or surrond with moist peat to ensure good humidity.

Description: Renowned for its beautiful leaf markings, some almost appear as if they were hand-painted. Known as a prayer plant as their leaves curl up at night.
