Training

Three types of training organisations are listed here :-

Colleges – The F& PA members listed here offer professional vocational training in floristry at NVQ level or similar (ie City and Guilds). Courses are generally a minimum of 1 year. Many colleges have retail outlets on the premises where you can buy the student's work. For a full listing of colleges in the UK, please contact Lantra (listed under Administrative organisations)

Commercial Schools/Courses – The schools/courses listed here run masterclasses through to beginners' courses, often comprising a day or two of intensive teaching. They do not offer vocational training but are ideal to learn Christmas ideas, wedding work, or other specialist techniques. They may also offer one-to-one tuition.

Administrative Organisations – These bodies monitor and represent professional floristry in the UK. They can provide information on professional courses, qualifications and training.
