  • Description - Rosette of straplike leaves, sometimes striped, with bright red or pink centre.
  • Origin - Native of the Amazon
  • Family - Bromeliad family with over 1400 known species
  • Care Tips - Water moderately into the rosette, keeping topped up with water. Feed with weak solution fortnightly during spring to autumn. Water sparingly during winter. Mist often or provide humidity. Very bright light. Temperature not below 18°C.
