Solanum
Name: Solanum (Christmas Cherry)
Description: It has branches of deep-green or variegated leaves and cute little red fruits. It's gorgeous for the kitchen, as the fruits look like miniature tomatoes – great for Autumn, when we're thinking of harvest-time.
Availability: Late Summer to Autumn. Fruit appears in October. Don't eat the fruit – they're purely ornamental.
Colour: Variegated or green leaves; the fruit begin as green spheres and eventually turn a glossy red.
Care Tips: Water well until the fruit falls. Keep in a bright, sunny position.
