Vuylstekeara orchid
Name - Pronounced vool-STECK-ee-ara. This orchid is often erroneously
called a Cambria orchid because the main variety on sale is 'Cambria Plush'. It
is a hybrid of three orchids: Odontoglossum x Cochlioda x Miltonia.
Description
- Butterfly shaped flowers on a long stem, its petals are velvety red with a brilliant
white pattern on the tip.

Family
- Orchidaceae.
Care Tips - A light, airy spot out of the sun. Temperatures:
summer, 20°C -24°C (68°-75°F) and 14°-18°C (57°-64°F)
in winter. Keep moist during the growing season and water sparingly during winter.
Trivia
- This orchid was originally produced by the Flemish grower Vuylsteker. It
is suitable for placing on windowsill or in a greenhouse.
