Plants | Sunpatiens

The wow-factor plant

New SunPatiens® Busy Lizzies (Impatiens) have eye-catching flowers in white, magenta, orange and red with dark green foliage. The Sunplash Salmon variegated colourway won Best New Plant at the biggest UK gardening trade show this year.

SunPatiens® aren't just an ordinary impatiens. These plants are three times larger with three times the blooms of normal impatiens, making them an economical addition to your garden this year.

They grow quickly and become large, bushy plants - now that's value for money! SunPatiens® add colourful cheer to your conservatory, patio, garden border or window box, but they are also ideal as large houseplants, whether in a sunny or partly shaded position.

They fill borders, baskets, and tubs with bursts of colour: plant them out after the last frost has fallen and they'll last until the thermometer drops to below freezing. They'll complement any colour scheme. Coming in classic white, rich red, hot magenta, cheery orange and pastel pinks,  they can look classically natural or vibrantly tropical, depending on the style of your garden or outdoor area.

Grown by Sakata Ornamentals Limited in the UK, they're environmentally friendly, too. Grown without chemicals, you can have a clear conscience when you choose Sunpatiens®. Due to their unique, deep root system, they can be planted both in full sun and in shade, and the only special care they need is regular watering – and your constant admiration!

You can buy SunPatiens from all Hilliers Garden Centres from mid-May 2009. You can also find a list of stockists on the SunPatiens website.
