Lilac crown
You can create this effect by arranging green
guelder rose (Viburnum opulus) around the edge of a low, round vase.
Then add greyish-green leaves - here bunnies' ears or lamb's ears
(Stachys lanata) - and fill in the centre with purple lilacs.
Other spring flowers with similar shapes could
be substituted. Cutting the long stems short like this draws you
into the arrangement, enabling you to look closer at each individual
flowerhead.
