Modern Folk Peperomia
come in many varieties and it's the deep veining on the leaves of most of them
which give a fascinating look. The long thin flower spikes are like strange tails
or alien forms, usually in cream, white or green. Peperomias are useful as they
can thrive in a shady spot, except the variegated varieties (cream or white and
green patterned leaves). Water about once every 10 days and let the compost dry
out between waterings. Overwatering will rot the roots and fleshy stems. Here
the weird shapes of the peperomia flowers are echoed by modern vases and a homely
folksy element is introduced by the crisp embroidered cloth. >> Click
