A Glass of Roses
Tea glasses make ideal containers for
the warm tones of rose blooms. For maximum scent, look for the varieties
"Jacaranda" (magenta), "Extase" and "Barkarole"
(both dark red), "Osiana" (salmon), "Honesty"
(soft pink) and "Sterling Silver" (lilac). Don't bash rose
stems - this encourages harmful bacteria to form, which shortens the
life of the flowers.
