Plant Trends | I Love the Sixties

I Love the Sixties

The almost psychedelic colours of Codiaeum - green, yellow, orange, red and even black - appear in a huge number of combinations and the quirky shapes are in a class of their own. Sometimes called Croton or Joseph's Coat, the more light this wonderful plant gets, the more colourful its leaves become. But, be warned, direct sunlight is a no-no for this retro-beauty. Codiaeum is found in the wild in Indonesia, Polynesia and Malaysia and likes to be warm. Make sure temperatures don't go lower than 15 degrees C.
